Retired and Pet Only Guys

13MR My Precious

Agouti Irish Rex

DoB 8/31/06

My Precious' litter name was Pegusus. He and his brothers Talker and Griffen are three of the biggest boys in the rattery. The whole litter (which I kept) have great personalities. Although Precious has not sired any litters he is a very proud uncle to many 13MR ratties.

GGR Sugar (Pet Only)

Mink Hooded

DoB 8/19/06

Sugar is a wonderful companion to humans but is VERY bossy with the other ratties (he does well with his cagemates), so we made the decision not to breed him.

13MR Painted Black

Black Berkshire Rex

DoB 3/30/07

Sweet PB is the most vocal rattie we have here in our home. He talks constantly, even in his sleep sometimes. When he first started talking I took him straight to in to see the Dr. thinking it was respiratory but he got a clean bill of health.

Cougar (born to a rescue mom)

Dumbo Beige Blaze Odd Eye

DoB summer of 2006

Cougar was born to our pregnant rescue girl, Vanilla, from Florence, OR.  He was one of two odd eyed kiddos in the litter. His sister Hawk died from Megacolon at a year of age. Cougar is a mellow boy who, like most ratties, enjoys hot summer days fishing for peas. =)

Templeton (a rescue of sorts)

Black Berkshire

DoB Spring of 2006

Templeton and his sister were still nursing and came with their mom, Coconut. I grabbed her from a feeder bin in hopes that she could foster a litter I had at home who's mother had failed to lactate. Sadly I lost that litter to no fault of Coconut. Templetons sister was adopted out and Coconut lived a short life here continuously on meds for cronic myco. Templeton is just a sweet heart. His permanent headtilt from an ear infection at a very young age, adds to his wonderful character.

13MR Black Pearl

Black Berkshire Velveteen

DoB 3/30/07

BP showing off his irresistable kissable belly

Bodi

Dumbo Agouti Variegated

DoB Summer or Fall of 2006

Bodi, Sage and Wilber were taken in by me, after I was contacted by the owner asking for my help in rehoming them. I had them up for adoption for a short time before the little monsters stole my heart and forced me into rat slavery. It's a hard job to spoil these guys but someone has to do it. =P

Sage

Dumbo Agouti Dalmation

DoB Summer or Fall of 2006

I have a real soft spot for Sage. He has the sweetest face. He can be a bit jumpy if you catch him off guard but he's just sooo warm hearted.

13MR Black Sabbath

Black Berkshire Double Rex

DoB 3/30/07

We use initials for all the sibs of the "Ode to Black" litter, except Black Sabbath because BS just doesn't sound very nice. hehe We call this guy Baz. His a really sweetheart.

Wilber

Dumbo Black Patch Dalmation

DoB Summer or Fall of 2006

Wilber, Wilber, Wilber. This guy is the bully of the boys, however he has gotten MUCH better with age and can now run around with all of the other boys during free-time without starting a riot. ((hugs))

Hodge Podge (Florence, Or. rescue...second sweep)

Dumbo Double Rex

DoB Spring of 2006

Hodgey is such a character. Emily brought him up to me after a second trip down to Florence to bring rescues up from an out of control situation. Hodge had to be housed alone for several months because he was completely terrified of other rats. He finally settled down and has lived with his bestest bud Fist for a long time now. They are inseparable.

13MR Black Velvet

Dumbo Black Berkshire Rex

DoB 3/30/07

Who could resist this face?

ABRY Snicker

Dumbo Fawn Hairless

DoB 5/01/06

I love him SO MUCH! Snicker is an incredibly healthy hairless boy who has been an great asset to me current hairless line. He has had very few abscesses in his full life and has produced offspring with very few abscess issues.

Eragon

Blue Double Rex

DoB unknown

During one of my very infrequent visits to Petco in 2006, I was talking to an employee about rats and she just had to show me this guy who was up for adoption that someone had brought in. He was fullgrown, thin, his hair was really wirey and felt really weird to touch. I just had to have him. During his three week quarentine and a healthy diet his yucky course wirey hair was gone and he now had super soft curls. They've stayed that way ever since. He is a gentle boy who resides with Snicker.

Cruz

Agouti Berkshire

DoB 7/19/06

Cruz and his sibling Chino were born here after their pregnant mom, Padme along with two other prego girls, came up from Petaluma Ca after a massive rescue. Cruz is doing well although showing signs of hindend weakness

13MR Griffen

Dumbo Black Self Rex

DoB 8/31/06

OHHH I LOVE my huge squishy lovebug!! Oh my gosh I'm going to miss this guy when he decides to leave me for the "Bridge"

3GR Frosty

Dumbo Pearl Merle

DoB 11/21/06

Frosty is one photogenic stud of a man. His photo says it all. He's an incredibly mellow boy who loves to spend his evenings munching on popcorn and taking in a good movie with his mommy.

Chino

Mink Berkshire

DoB 7/19/06

Chino was born to Petaluma rescue mom, Padme. He has the cutest crooked little face that he refused to let me get a good photo of. I guess he prefers his profile. =D

Johnny

Fawn Self

DoB 7/20/06

Yes, more Petaluma boys. Johnny, James and Orlando were all born a day after Chino amd Cruz. Their mom was a beautiful tiny Beige girl with the most perfect round tulip ears. I don't know how old she was when she came up to live with me but she souldn't have been more that three months old and had a big round prego belly on her. Johnny and James look and act a lot alike. But as time has passed Johnny has lightened up a bit in color.

James

Fawn Self

DoB 7/20/06

Like his brothers, James is a very quiet boy who isn't a big attention monger. He'll gladly wait for you to come to him.

Orlando

Beige Self

DoB 7/20/06

The last of the three brothers. Orlando has a strange quirk. You can not just come up behind this guy and pet him or pick him up. He will freak out. He has to see it coming then he's sweet and sane as can be. Such a silly old man.
