Adopting rats from 13 Moons Rattery

I am looking for loving life term homes for my babies. I DO NOT sell my rats as feeders or feeder breeders.  Rats are highly sociable and need the companionship of other rats, therefore I sell my babies in same sex pairs and trios etc. (unless you have and can show proof that you already have at least one rat as part of your family, by way of e-mail or snail mail). If for any reason you are no longer able to care for your rat(s) I will take them back where they will stay with me, or until I find them a new adoptive home. No refund will be given. I sell rats as pet only and to fellow breeders whom I have known for a long time. If you adopt a 'pet only' rat from me you agree not to breed that rat. The Adoption process If you are interested in adopting from us please fill out an adoption request form. Once I have received your adoption form I will email you with any additional questions and/or to answer questions you may have. Most often I will not have ratties available for you right away as my waitlists are long and litters generally quite small. This is the case with most reputable breeders as we are careful to pair up quality rats that serve our specific goals - foremost being temperament, health and confirmation followed by our particular variety goals. I recommend requesting a quarterly update so that you may be kept up to date on litters through out the year. To stop receiving quarterly litter updates simply email me with your request and I will remove your name from the list. Please keep in mind 13 Moons Rattery holds the right to refuse adoption to anyone. -------------------------------------------------------------     Our rattery is located in our home. To insure an optimum healthly environment for our rats we are a closed rattery. The risk of the SDA and other contagious and deadly viruses can be inadvertantly brought into the rattery through visitors. When your ratties are ready to go home we will arrange pick up...usually in the Hillsboro area. Thank you for understanding the importance of this matter. Prices  Standard size rats of all varieties: $25.00  Dwarf rats of all varieties: Single $35.00   Adoption fees are subject to change ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The adoptions fees that are charged go right back into caring for the rats. This includes food, bedding, hammocks, toys, cages and vet care.
